Saturday's "Blues & Brews" at the Patio
We attended the first “Blues & Brews” event at the Champagne Patio this last Saturday, which was a great time. Expected to be held monthly from here on out, the event featured beer from Newport based SKW Brewery, live blues music and a wonderful buffet spread of food.
Jean Folwell, who owns and operates the Champagne Patio, says that they are planning to hold the “Blues & Brews” event every month as a way of providing a little more variety for people in Newport looking for social events. For those Newport residents that have not spent any time at the Champagne Patio, we highly recommend stopping in, as Jean has created a great environment for meeting with friends, drinking some wine and enjoying a bite to eat.
